Seven Pakistani Cricketers to Play Global T20 Canada 2024 Including Babar & Shaheen – Startup Pakistan

Seven Pakistani cricketers, including the captain Babar Azam, are set to participate in the Global T20 Canada league from July 25 to August 11. These players will be joining various teams in the league to showcase their talent.

Babar Azam, Asif Ali, Mohammad Amir, and Mohammad Rizwan will all be playing for the Vancouver Knights. Meanwhile, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz will be joining the Toronto Nationals. Iftikhar Ahmed will be representing the Bangla Tigers Mississauga.

Despite being part of Pakistan’s squad in the T20 World Cup 2024, the team unfortunately did not make it to the Super 8 stage. This opportunity to play in the Global T20 Canada league will allow these players to gain more experience and exposure in international cricket.
