Rawalpindi Development Authority Seals 108 Under-Construction Buildings – Startup Pakistan

The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) is intensifying its efforts against those violating dengue Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by sealing 108 under-construction buildings.

A spokesperson stated that an RDA team, in collaboration with officials from the Punjab Health Department, conducted raids in various areas of Union Council Chak Jalal Din to eliminate dengue larvae and enforce legal action against rule violators.

Prior to this major operation, health department staff and the RDA’s focal person inspected several under-construction sites to identify the presence of dengue larvae.

The teams discovered larvae in multiple buildings, the spokesperson added.

Following the directives of Rawalpindi Division Commissioner Engineer Aamir Khattak and RDA Director General Kinza Murtaza, the RDA and health department teams have ramped up their operations to address violations of anti-dengue SOPs.
