Punjab Govt Announces Free Plots for Journalists & Media Workers – Startup Pakistan

A group of senior journalists recently met with Provincial Information Minister Azma Bukhari to discuss the Maskan Ravi housing project. During the meeting, Bukhari assured the journalists that 3,200 plots, each measuring 5 marlas, would be allocated to journalists and media workers.

Priority will be given to those working in Lahore. The plan also covers full-time media workers, who will receive the plots free of charge.

The minister explained that the project had been delayed due to a restraining order, but steps are being taken to resolve the issue and move forward.

For those who missed the initial deadline, the project will be advertised again, allowing them to apply. To qualify, applicants must have at least ten years of experience working in the media industry.

Both the journalists and the minister agreed to continue discussing the project to ensure it meets the needs of the media community and that any issues are addressed.
