Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has praised the bravery of Mohibullah, an excavator driver who courageously risked his life to save people trapped during a devastating flash flood in Qila Abdullah. Recognizing his heroic actions, the Prime Minister awarded him 2.5 million rupees as a token of appreciation for his selfless act.
In addition to the financial reward, Prime Minister Sharif also made a significant announcement regarding the future well-being of Mohibullah’s family. He declared that Mohibullah’s children would receive free education up to the university level, ensuring they have access to quality learning opportunities. Furthermore, the Prime Minister assured that Mohibullah’s family would receive free healthcare, reflecting the government’s commitment to supporting those who display extraordinary courage.
The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad, where PM Sharif personally commended Mohibullah for his outstanding bravery and selflessness. He referred to Mohibullah as a national hero, acknowledging the critical role he played in saving lives during the flood. In response, Mohibullah expressed his deep gratitude, stating that being recognized in this way was a tremendous honor for him and his family.
