Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors and liaisons to ensure requests are accurate and complete and inputting the actions into People First. The incumbent also manages the Department’s Performance Management program, which involves monitoring the timely completion of performance plans and evaluations in the People First system, preparing reports, and providing verbal and written guidance on performance management to employees, managers, and staff.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least one year of working as a Human Resource professional, using Human Resource Information System, such as People First, PeopleSoft, ADP, etc.
  • One year of experience applying rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience creating and responding to verbal and written requests.
  • Experience creating, organizing, and distributing data and reports.
  • Proven skill in analyzing and interpreting data.

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience with the performance management planning and evaluation process
  • Experience processing personnel/compensation actions in People First
  • Experience processing classification actions in People First
  • Knowledge of Human Resource principles
  • Experience in job classification process
  • Knowledge of State of Florida Personnel Rules
