The tri-services team from the Pakistan Armed Forces achieved remarkable success by winning five medals at the 4th CISM (International Military Sports Council) World Military Cadet Games. This prestigious event took place in Caracas, Venezuela, from August 16 to 22, where military athletes from around the world gathered to compete.

The Pakistani team showcased their talents in various track, field, and shooting events, making the nation proud with their outstanding performances. Chief Warrant Officer Mueed Baloch of the Pakistan Air Force shone brightly, securing a gold medal in the 400 meters and adding a silver medal in the 200 meters to his accomplishments. His remarkable speed and dedication earned him recognition on the international stage.

In addition to Mueed Baloch’s success, Sepoy Muhammad Akhtar from the Pakistan Army delivered impressive results in long-distance running events. He claimed a silver medal in the challenging 10,000 meters race and followed it up with a bronze medal in the 5,000 meters, demonstrating his endurance and determination.

The Pakistani team’s achievements were further highlighted in the shooting events. The trio of Nk Qasim Bilal, Sepoy Ismail Khan, and Sepoy Muhammad Rashid, all from the Pakistan Army, displayed exceptional marksmanship, earning a silver medal in the 25 meters pistol rapid shooting team event. Their precise shooting skills contributed significantly to Pakistan’s overall success at the games.
