Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, emphasized the strong bond between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, stating that the two nations do not require formal agreements to signify their partnership. Speaking during an investment forum, Al-Falih highlighted the deep-rooted ties between the countries, stressing that they are united as one.
He expressed confidence in the long-standing friendship, which is built on shared values, mutual respect, and historical ties. According to Al-Falih, the relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia goes beyond diplomatic agreements, as it is characterized by trust and cooperation across multiple sectors, including trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
The minister further underscored the importance of ongoing collaboration in energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors, noting that Saudi Arabia is keen on enhancing investments in Pakistan. Al-Falih’s remarks also highlighted the role of the Pakistani workforce in Saudi Arabia’s development and the desire to continue strengthening bilateral relations.
