New ‘dynamic’ color-shifting wallpaper debuts in iOS 18
Apple iOS 18 now introduces a dynamic wallpaper changes its appearance all the day according to your needs.
Apple has released the third developer beta of iOS 18, introducing several new features set to appear in the final version later this year. Among the most anticipated updates is dynamic wallpaper, which subtly changes throughout the day, displaying warmer tones during daylight hours and cooler hues in the evening.

This dynamic wallpaper feature offers a range of colours that automatically shift as the day progresses, providing a visually appealing and adaptive background for iPhone users.

In addition to dynamic wallpaper, iOS 18 will include new customization options, such as the ability to tint homescreen app icons and rearrange them freely. According to 9to5Mac, some third-party apps will also feature dark mode app icons with this new beta.
Currently, these features are exclusive to the iOS 18 developer beta, which can be installed now. Apple has announced a public beta scheduled for release in July, with the full iOS 18 launch expected this fall.
On Monday, Apple also rolled out new developer betas for iPadOS 18, watchOS 11, visionOS 2, and tvOS 18.
