KP Govt to Install Chairlift from Naran to Saiful Muluk Lake – Startup Pakistan
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is planning to build a chairlift that will connect Naran to Saiful Muluk Lake as part of a public-private partnership project. This new chairlift is expected to boost tourism in the beautiful Kaghan Valley by offering an easier and more exciting way for visitors to reach the lake.
Many tourists find the jeep ride to Saiful Muluk Lake challenging, especially those who are afraid of the rough journey or have health issues. The chairlift will offer them a safer and more comfortable alternative to enjoy the scenic views without the stress of a bumpy ride.
Currently, the feasibility report for the project is in its final stages. Once that is completed, the government will move forward with the necessary steps to make this project a reality.
The chairlift will have stations both in Naran and at Saiful Muluk Lake, which is managed by the Wildlife Department. The government’s broader goal is to discover more tourist spots and enhance the appeal of existing ones like Kaghan Valley.
By doing so, they hope to attract more visitors, boost the local economy, and make the area a more popular destination for both domestic and international tourists.
