Good News for Pakistanis! Petrol Price Reduced by Rs. 10 – Startup Pakistan
The federal government has introduced a significant reduction in fuel prices, offering relief to consumers. As per the latest announcement, the price of petrol has been lowered by Rs10 per litre, and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs13.06 per litre.
The new rates were calculated by the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) based on global market changes. Petrol now costs Rs249.10 per litre, while HSD is priced at Rs249.69 per litre. This adjustment brings much-needed ease to the public, especially for those relying on diesel for transportation.
In addition to petrol and HSD, kerosene has seen a reduction of Rs11.15 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs158.47. Light diesel oil has also dropped by Rs12.12, settling at Rs149.13 per litre.
These updated fuel prices will remain effective for the next 15 days, starting from September 16.
