Former West Indies All-Rounder Dwayne Bravo Retires from Cricket After 21-Years Career – Startup Pakistan

Former West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has officially announced his retirement from professional cricket after a remarkable 21-year career, following a groin injury that cut short his involvement in the Caribbean Premier League.

The 40-year-old, who holds the record for the most wickets in T20 cricket with 631, shared his decision on Instagram, citing his body’s inability to handle further strain. Bravo is now stepping into a mentoring role with the Indian Premier League (IPL) champions, Kolkata Knight Riders.

Throughout his illustrious career, he played 40 Tests, 164 One-Day Internationals, and 91 T20 matches, contributing to the West Indies’ T20 World Cup victory in 2016. After retiring from international cricket in 2021, he transitioned to coaching.
