Former PM Imran Khan to Run for Chancellor of Oxford University – Startup Pakistan

Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, is planning to apply for the position of Chancellor at Oxford University. This opportunity arose after Lord Patten resigned from the role.

Notably, this election will be conducted online for the first time, allowing over 350,000 members of Oxford’s convocation to participate in the voting process.

Khan, an alumnus of Oxford University, also has a notable background as the former captain of Pakistan’s cricket team. His candidacy has been confirmed by his advisor, Syed Zulfi Bukhari, who mentioned that there is substantial public support for Khan’s application.
