Flying The Crowded Skies – Travel The Four Corners
According to a CNN Travel article by Jacopo Prisco, people also use these publicly available platforms to track celebrities and dignitaries. His article, Inside Flightradar24, the website that tracks every plane in the sky, mentions a few high-profile examples. One was back in 2022 when members of the public tracked US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s controversial flight to Taiwan. Another was Alexei Navalny, Russia’s recently deceased opposition leader, on his fateful return to his homeland in 2021. Still, others use the platform to track the flights of their friends and family members and their flights.
In addition to Flightradar24, other aviation trackers with free flight maps include FlightAware and PlaneMapper.
