Crane Driver in Balochistan Saved Five Lives in Flood – Startup Pakistan
An excavator operator named Mohibullah has been recognized for his heroic efforts in rescuing a family trapped in severe flooding in Killa Abdullah. Mohibullah carried out the entire rescue operation on his own, putting his own life in danger to save others. His bravery did not go unnoticed, as he was rewarded with several cash prizes and a scholarship for his son.
The Quetta corps commander awarded him Rs. 0.5 million, while the Balochistan government provided a scholarship for his son’s education. Additionally, he received Rs. 0.2 million each from Hilal-e-Ahmar Balochistan Chairman Abdul Wali Khan Ghabizai and Awami National Party member Zamrak Khan Achakzai.
Mohibullah’s courageous act has earned him widespread praise from people all over the country. He was also given an appreciation certificate and a cash prize by Killa Abdullah Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Farooq.
Despite the accolades and rewards, Mohibullah remained humble, stating that his motivation came from hearing the cries of the children trapped in the flood.
He also refused any payment from the owner of the vehicle, saying that he carried out the rescue for the sake of Allah. His selfless actions have made him a hero in the eyes of many, and he continues to be celebrated for his incredible bravery during such a dangerous situation.
