CM Punjab Launches ‘Maryam Ki Masihaai’ Initiative for Free Heart Surgeries for Children – Startup Pakistan
The initiative “Maryam Ki Masihaai” is set to provide medical care to more than 5,000 children every year. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz officially launched the program, where she handed out ‘Child Surgery Cards’ to young patients.
These cards will allow children to receive necessary surgeries and treatments. If government hospitals are unable to perform the required surgeries, the procedures will be carried out in private hospitals to ensure that no child is left untreated.
Maryam Nawaz expressed her happiness in starting this initiative, saying it is motivated by a desire to reduce the suffering of children in need of medical care. This project marks the first of its kind in Pakistan and will offer medical services to children not only from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but also from other provinces across the country.
The program is a significant step toward improving healthcare access for young patients, providing hope and relief to families who previously struggled to find adequate medical support for their children.
