Chinese Lunar Probe Returns to Earth With the World’s First Samples from the Far Side of the Moon – Startup Pakistan

A spacecraft from China that traveled to the far side of the Moon has returned to Earth successfully on Tuesday after a 53-day mission, marking a big achievement in space exploration. The China National Space Administration confirmed that the Chang’e-6 module landed in Inner Mongolia at 2:07 pm (0607 GMT), announcing that the mission went very well.

The samples collected from this less-explored part of the Moon are expected to help scientists learn more about how the Moon formed and changed over time. This area has a rugged surface that has been less altered compared to the side of the Moon that faces Earth.

China’s space agency pointed out that the spacecraft worked as expected during the mission, showing that it was a successful mission.
