PMD forecasts hot and dry weather in Karachi during Eid ul Fitr

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted a further rise in temperatures in Karachi during Eidul Fitr, with the temperature expected to rise to 38°C from Monday.

According to the Met Office, the city will experience hot and dry weather, with temperatures reaching up to 37°C today. However, starting from tomorrow, the city will face intense sunlight during the day and relatively cooler nights.

The wind speed in Karachi is currently 8 km/h from the northeast, with the humidity level standing at 41%. Karachi’s air quality remains unhealthy, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 145 particulate matter, indicating high pollution levels in the atmosphere.

Across Pakistan, dry weather is expected in most regions over the next twelve hours, with hot conditions in plain areas during the day.
