Authorities Impose Ban on Sale and Use of ‘Baja’ Ahead of Independence Day – Startup Pakistan
Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz, has directed all assistant commissioners in the city to confiscate all bajas (horns) before Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day.
Even though there is an official ban on the sale of these horns, they are still being sold in various parts of the capital. To address this, the authorities are taking action to ensure that the ban is strictly enforced.
In addition to this, Nawaz has called on the public to avoid using these horns, especially during the Independence Day celebrations. The purpose of this measure is to maintain peace and order during the festivities.
The authorities are working hard to ensure that the celebrations remain safe and enjoyable for everyone.
By cracking down on the sale and use of bajas, the government aims to prevent any disturbances and keep the atmosphere calm and respectful as the nation marks its 77th year of independence.
