All Banks in Pakistan will be Closed on September 17 for Eid Miladun Nabi SAW – Startup Pakistan

All banks in Pakistan will be closed on September 17, 2024 (Tuesday) to observe Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW).

The Chairman of the Ruet Committee has confirmed that the moon for Rabiul Awwal was not seen in Pakistan on Wednesday, which means Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) will be celebrated on September 17 instead of the previously expected date of September 16.

As a result, September 17 will be a public holiday, and all banks across the country will be closed to mark 12 Rabiul Awwal. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will issue an official notice about the bank closures in the coming days.

Eid Miladun Nabi is a significant day for Muslims, providing an opportunity for spiritual reflection and renewal. It encourages Muslims to reaffirm their commitment to the principles of Islam and follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in their daily lives.
