India Invested Rs. 17.9 Crores (PKR 59 Crore) on Training of Athletes for Paris Olympics 2024 – Startup Pakistan

India has made a significant investment in training its top athletes for the upcoming Paris Olympics in 2024. Indian media reports state that the country has spent 17.9 crore Indian rupees on various programs aimed at preparing these athletes.

This substantial amount of money has been allocated for overseas training and specialized camps for leading athletes.

Top Indian athletes have had the opportunity to train in countries such as the United States, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. These international training programs are designed to provide them with the best possible facilities and coaching to enhance their performance.

In addition to overseas training, other members of the Indian squad have been participating in separate training camps within India. These camps are tailored to meet the specific needs of athletes, ensuring that they receive comprehensive training and support.

The investment is part of a broader effort by the Indian government to ensure that its athletes are well-prepared for the Paris Olympics. This initiative is being driven by the Mission Olympic Cell, which operates under the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS). The scheme aims to support India’s elite athletes by providing them with the resources they need to excel on the global stage.

The Mission Olympic Cell has been spending crores of rupees under the TOPS program to help athletes reach their peak performance. This includes not only training but also access to top-tier coaching, advanced facilities, and international exposure. The goal is to give Indian athletes the best chance of winning medals at the Olympics and making the country proud.

The comprehensive approach to training reflects India’s commitment to improving its performance in international sports. By investing heavily in its athletes, the country hopes to achieve significant success at the Paris Olympics 2024. This strategy demonstrates the importance placed on sports development and the desire to see Indian athletes succeed at the highest levels of competition.
