Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has denied allegations of an on-campus rape of a student in Lahore, calling them “fabricated” rumors spread on social media.
During a press conference, she emphasized that the incident was completely false and criticized the misleading narrative built around it.
After the news went viral last week, authorities arrested a college security guard and launched an investigation into the matter.
