Pakistan Announces Visa-free Entry for Travelers From Gulf Countries to Boost Tourism – Startup Pakistan

In a significant move to enhance tourism and draw in more foreign investments, the Pakistani government has rolled out a new policy allowing visa-free entry for travelers from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This new policy is a step forward in making Pakistan a more accessible destination for visitors from the Gulf region.

Citizens of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are now eligible to enter Pakistan without needing a visa.

They can stay in the country for up to 90 days under this new arrangement. This change is expected to make travel easier and more attractive for tourists and businesspeople from these countries, fostering stronger ties and boosting Pakistan’s tourism industry.

To ensure smooth implementation, immigration authorities at all airports across Pakistan have been directed to apply the new visa-free entry policy without any issues.

The government has also introduced updated guidelines that allow travelers from an additional 120 countries to visit Pakistan by obtaining a visa grant notice.

This broader effort is part of Pakistan’s ongoing initiatives to make the country more welcoming to international visitors and to stimulate economic growth through increased tourism and investment opportunities.
