Free Air Ambulance Service Launched for three Sindh Cities – Startup Pakistan

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at Karachi airport between the Local Councils Association Sindh (LCAS) and Aircraft Sales & Services Limited (ASSL) to introduce a free air ambulance service.

This service aims to assist with emergency evacuations, particularly from areas like Ghotki, Sukkur, and Khairpur, by transporting patients to Karachi for urgent medical care.Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani explained that this new service will significantly speed up the process of getting critically injured patients to the treatment they need as quickly as possible.

He also pointed out the difficulties often faced when trying to transport patients from remote cities and towns to major hospitals in Karachi. This air ambulance service is expected to be a vital lifeline for those in need of rapid medical attention in these regions.
