What an amazing night for Mac! I got chills seeing all the love and respect he was getting from so many NBA players and former legends. Not gonna lie, I was nervous thinking the stage might be too big and he would miss a bunch of dunks as a result, but he delivered big time, not missing a single dunk and getting perfect scores on 3 of 4 with a near perfect on the other.
There was a lot of people hating beforehand about the decision to let Mac be in the contest. And a lot of people saying they don’t know who he is. Well the haters have been silenced, and the people that didn’t know who he was, now know. As Reggie Miller, Shaq, and even Magic Johnson said “Mac McClung saved the dunk contest.”
