It seems like fatherhood put him on the path to a new life. But what do we know about his journey, his child, and his baby mama?

According to US media, Hanks, 33, shares an eight-year-old daughter with his ex-partner Tiffany Miles. The child, Michaiah, was born in April 2016.

Hanks opened up about how he got sober after welcoming his daughter. In an emotional video shared on Instagram, he stated, “I want to share something today because it’s about to be shared anyway in the press, which is the fact that I have a daughter,” he said. “She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. She’s the reason why I turned my life around and got sober. I’ve been sober for over a year and a half from everything.”

The rapper continued, “She’s something that I love that’s changed my life, but the fact is she’s about to be shared with everybody, so I wanted you to hear it from me before you hear it from the media.”

Both Hanks’ daughter and his ex have remained completely removed from the spotlight – there are hardly any images of them available online. In 2016, British media reported that she lived in Indio, California, but there is virtually no information about her otherwise.

In 2019, Michaiah made a rare public appearance, joining her grandparents Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, and other family members, at Wilson’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony.
